There is far too much smoke and mirrors and far too little business sense. Doesn't anybody remember the fiasco of 2000 with the "new economy" where it turned out that the "old economy" rules are paramount? Tunrs out that companies still need to turn a profit, impress investors, and satisfy customers as makes the best sense within their market. Remember the mantra that web sites and content and "cost centers"? from our intial discussions. Anybody notice how the newspapers which are some of the content leaders do not have a business model that supports free content? I think it is a long haul out of the BS.

The best business model is where there is business to support the model! The basics. Doesn't anybody remember the notion that believe 1/3 of what you hear, 1/2 of what you of what you read and NONE of what you see. Ie: the credibility of the source is the underlying guarantee of content quality. Simply being published is every morons right and their ideas are an unvetted as the guy gassing up at the gas station.
