5 Ways You Can Improve Your Email Strategy Today
Email has great ROI, make it work for you. With some simple tricks, you can increase opens and engagements on your email marketing.
Bonus Tips:
Use Unsubscribe Links
Not only are unsubscribes required according to the CAN-SPAM Act, but they aren’t necessarily a bad thing. Don’t be scared of unsubscribes, all this means is that these users aren’t interested in your content anymore. That happens. Always include unsubscribe links, users will always appreciate that.
Use Pre-Header Text
This is a section I see a lot of marketers skip. Think of it as adding meta descriptions in web development. It provides a preview to help users quickly comprehend the purpose of your email. It also shows up in the content preview of your email so it might help open rates if done correctly.
Create Efficient Buttons
Using buttons rather than simple links in emails will significantly help click-through rates. It will help users identify important sections of emails and your main objectives quickly. Use a contrasting color so that they can be easily identified. It also prompts users to click. Another trick I use is adding UTF-8 arrows like this → to catch attention.
Experiment with Imagery
Imagery tells a story to a user. It also adds a level of brand trust. The reality of things is that if things look expensive, people will trust your judgment & they will be more likely to buy from you.
Emojis In The Subject Line
This may or may not be something you want to experiment with. However, I love emojis. It adds an extra attention grabbing element. We have also used them and received positive responses. Our open rates improved significantly after adding them into our subject lines.
